The Art of the Burn. Perfecting Our New Amber Jar Candles.

At That Candle Company, we believe luxury is a performance. We are currently perfecting our new Amber Jar Candles to ensure they meet our high standards. While our flagship Pastel Ceramic range remains a favourite, we are working hard behind the scenes. This testing phase is essential for your safety and satisfaction.

We are thrilled to share a look at this upcoming collection. However, before these Amber Jar Candles launch, they must pass rigorous checks.

Testing Our Amber Jar Candles for Quality.

The transition to this range was born from a desire for “everyday luxury.” We wanted a travel-friendly vessel with a secure screw lid. Consequently, we are using the exact same high-end wax and D.L. FLAME fragrances. Furthermore, these materials must interact perfectly to create a clean burn.

To maintain brand cohesion, we designed the labels to match our flagship gift boxes. For example, the deep charcoal of Midnight Bloom connects the ranges visually. Therefore, you can recognise your favourite scent instantly in any size. Because we use the same premium oils, the aromatic experience remains identical across our entire catalogue.

The Safety Standards for Amber Jar Candles.

Why do we spend so much time testing? The truth is that changing a vessel changes the physics of the burn. Currently, our testing focuses on three critical pillars:

  1. Wick Precision: We test multiple sizes to prevent soot and “mushrooming.”
  2. Heat Integrity: We ensure the glass handles long burn cycles safely without overheating.
  3. Fragrance Throw: We measure the scent to ensure it fills your room perfectly.

In addition to these checks, we perform “power burns.” This involves lighting the Amber Jar Candles for four hours at a time. This process allows us to see how the wax behaves as the jar gets lower. If the glass becomes too hot or the flame becomes unstable, we start the design process again.

We know many of you are eager for this release. Nevertheless, safety is our signature. By validating our standards in our Wiltshire studio, we guarantee a better product. When you finally light your first candle, the experience will be flawless. Moreover, you can burn your candle with total peace of mind.
